1Go ahead & pre-boil your water!2Gather up your potatoes, however many you want...at least 3.3Peel your potatoes! Or leave the skin on, however you wish!4Slice & dice them into abstract cubes. We want them to cook all the way in a short period of time.5And they& 39;re off...cooking! I have 7 potatoes in the pot, will leave it there for about 20 mins.
1Preheat your oven to 180°C/350°F.2Place 1 cup of sugar, 6 tbsps of melted butter, 1 1/2 tsp of nutmeg in a large bowl.3Mix well.4Then add in 1 cup of milk. I usually use low fat or skim for this recipe as I think it works best. But half & half or whole milk would work fine as well. :)5Once mixed, it will look like this.
1Preheat the oven to 450 degrees and spray a non-stick cookie sheet with olive oil cooking spray.2Slice potatoes and toss with flour knocking off the extra flour.3Layer on a cookie sheet, sprinkle with your favorite seasonings, and spray the tops with cooking spray.4Bake for 15 minutes and turn to brown the other side for another 10 minutes.
1Make sure you have a regular 52 count deck of cards, no jokers. Shuffle and have an observer cut the deck for authenticity. Next, place the deck face down. My picture just illustrates I have all cards2From the face down deck, roll over the first card. Whatever that card is you will place subsequent cards on top of it and count up until you reach the number 13 assuming jacks are 11 and queens are 123For example if an 8 comes up first, then add a card (9), another (10), another (11), another (12) & another (13).
1First you must put your legs together.2Jump to the left and lift up your right leg.3Put your right leg behind your left leg. C:4Not the best photo, but put your right leg down a d your left leg up.5Lastly you must put your left leg behind your right leg an then your done good luck!6Here is a video of me doing the shuffling this is how it should look like as you are doing it.
1First get a new deck of cards to practice with I recommend anything made by Bicycle or Ellusionist.2An Example of an Ellusionist deck.3And a Bicycle4An example of me shuffling my deck51.take the deck and split it in half 2. than take the two half& 39;s and place them face down and pull back with your thumbs 3.
1A board that is visually appealing makes you want to play more, I find.2Make sure you have the lighter colored square at your bottom-Right. It& 39;s just a convention, but it is the proper way. Pieces go on the row closest to you, and the pawns go in front of the pieces...3Pawns, prepared for duty!4You have a side, and your opponent has his own.
1Split the deck into two equal piles2Hold each set with your thumb and two middle fingers3Make sure you are able to bend the pile slightly (use pointer to push slightly)4Hold both packs close together bending them5Slowly release the top of the cards making sure they overlap each other67Place both thumbs over the join between top and second top card making sure to keep them there.
1I made this sauce from& 34; scratch& 34; with no particular recipe...I was mostly dumping in more water, honey, tomato sauce & BBQ sauce as the liquid evaporated and soaked into the meat.2These are braising beef short ribs....just in case you are looking for them at your local market. Unless you& 39;re SUPER hungry, you only need one per person.
1This is just a simple but fun prank you can pull on a friend anywhere they happen to be drinking something with a straw.2When your friend isn& 39;t looking. Or grab a straw that looks like the straw in your friends drinks.3With a lighter. Melt the end of the straw then pinch it closed. Your goal is to seal the end closed.
1Supplies!2Slice straight through the mango on each side of the seed. Watch your fingers!3Other side!4You will be left with these three pieces.5Take the middle seed piece and trim off the peel. Cut off the flesh from this piece.6Like this. Be careful it& 39;s slippery! You can also lay this on the cutting board.
Just hold it under water and this is the optical illusion you& 39;ll see. Pretty cool huh? :)
1Load some driving guitar-driven alterna-rock into the listening device of your choice and commence to dance violently.2Fix yourself a stiff drink! This is a Boccie Ball. I like it strong, like about half and half. Later on in prep, you might want to switch to something cheaper.3Make your curry powder with all seven dry spices, then add 2 tsp salt.
1I learned how to do this by following the post by jlangford here: us.lexusownersclub.com/forums… Please reference his work for more details and photos.2This is the unit we& 39;re dealing with. The touch screen digitizer is broken and while the screen works, it doesn& 39;t register touch.3You start by pulling the vent unit out.
1Get out everything you need.2Place cream and butter in a pan on a low heat.3Heat until its about to start boiling and remove from hob.4While the cream is heating up break the chocolate up into pieces - as small as possible.5Remove cream from the job and add chocolate.6Completely cover the chocolate and rest for a few seconds.
1You don& 39;t need many ingredients.2Melt the butter over a medium heat.3Add the chopped onions.4When they& 39;re golden, add some salt and pepper.5Then gradually add the oats. They& 39;ll soak up the melted butter.6Once they& 39;re all in, fry them for a few minutes more. Stir occasionally - but let them brown a bit.
1This is what we want to achieve. It& 39;s very simple actually.2What you need. Carrots, knife, carving knives, peeler.3Cut carrots to desired thickness.4The secret is the carving knife5Do a semi circle cut then move the knife down and do another cut. There you have the smiley eyes. :)6Using a straight edge carving knife, cut a small triangle for the nose.
1I got this salt block as a gift two years ago but was too intimidated by its beauty to use it.2Many thanks to Mark Bitterman of The Meadow for demystifying the process of cooking on salt for me. (You should buy his book!)3You will need a salt block of at least 1 inch thick, preferably 1.5 inches thick.
